The Alpine iLX-700 is a mecha-less in-dash receiver featuring a sleek 7-inch capacitive touch screen with an ultra-flat design. It is fully compatible with Apple CarPlay, providing iPhone users with seamless integration and enhanced driving experience.

Apple CarPlay offers an intuitive and innovative way to make calls, use Maps, listen to music, and access messages using voice control or touch input. When connected, drivers can control CarPlay directly through the 7" display or activate Siri to minimize distractions. Audio, navigation, and calls are routed through the car’s sound system.

Apple CarPlay uses the Lightning connector and supports iPhone 5 and newer models, including iPhone 6, 6 Plus, and the latest iOS versions.

The iLX-700 features three Pre-Outs (2V), an A/V Aux input, Alpine’s MediaXpander™ technology for optimized audio playback, and a dedicated input for a rear-view camera (sold separately). Its ultra-flat 7cm mounting depth makes it easy to install into most dashboards.

This device is compatible with the Alpine TuneIt™ 2.0 smartphone app, allowing advanced sound customization such as time correction, parametric EQ, crossover settings, and more. Adjustments made in the app are sent directly to the iLX-700 for real-time sound personalization.

Apple CarPlay offers a safe and intuitive way to use your iPhone in the car. Just connect your iPhone via Lightning to the iLX-700, and your CarPlay-compatible apps will appear on the Alpine screen.

Use the 7" capacitive touch screen or Siri to get directions, make calls, browse your music library, and dictate messages. Siri can even read incoming texts aloud while you keep your eyes on the road. Additional CarPlay-approved apps like Podcasts, Spotify, and internet radio are also supported, with more apps added regularly.

As you begin typing an address, CarPlay intelligently predicts your destination using recent and frequent locations.

Messages

Apple CarPlay provides the safest way to handle texts on the road. With voice commands, Siri can send, read, and reply to messages so you never have to take your hands off the wheel or eyes off the road.
